When the death of Queen Elizabeth II was announced on September 8, 2022, the country was drenched in rain. It was one of those typical bad weather days that the British like to describe as “It rains cats and dogs”. But when the flags flew at half-mast over London, even the skies seemed deeply impressed. The clouds parted, the sun appeared and made two rainbows shine over the city: bright, luminous and colorful.
