“Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown (20) and Jake Bongiovi (22) have tied the knot. This is reported by the US magazine “People”, confirming a report by the British “Sun”. Brown and the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi (62) said yes in a private ceremony last weekend.

“It was a very low-key, romantic ceremony with immediate family there as they said their vows,” an unnamed source told the British paper. Both Jon Bon Jovi and Netflix star Brown’s parents were present. The newlyweds are also said to be planning a larger wedding ceremony later in the year.

Brown and Bongiovi are said to have met via Instagram and were initially friends. Rumors first circulated in 2021 that the two could have become a couple. At the beginning of April 2023, Brown announced her engagement with a romantic Instagram post. “I loved you for three summers, now, my darling, I want them all,” wrote the star of films like “Godzilla vs. Kong” and “Enola Holmes” on the social network at the time.

Jake Bongiovi’s famous father also supports the marriage of his 22-year-old son. “I don’t know if age plays a role in finding the right partner and growing together,” he said in a radio interview in May last year, adding: “Millie is wonderful. Her whole family is great. Jake is very, very happy.”
