Singer and moderator Stefan Mross (47) and singer Eva Luginger (35) gave insights into their relationship in an interview with the “Bild” newspaper. First, Luginger revealed when she fell in love with Mross. “In December we saw each other over a glass of mulled wine. Then things sparked between us. I quickly realized that we go well together.” However, she never had the intention of “clawing him to me”. She “later broke up on good terms” with her husband.
Eva Luginger is a pop singer herself and was considered a very good friend of Anna-Carina Woitschack (30), Stefan Mross’ wife. Mross has also known her for a long time: as early as 2018, the two were seen side by side on his show “Always Again on Sundays”. She “has had no contact at all with Woitschack in the past few months. When I met Stefan, there had been a long silence between us,” emphasizes Luginger.
Mross and Luginger are both still married. “Divorces are ongoing,” explains Mross. “We’ve both been in the year of separation since September. It’s going to be a double divorce, so to speak.” Both moved into Mross’ old house, which the moderator has now sold. From June 1st they would need a new place to stay. “Then it should be a little more cuddly. I want a new beginning. The chapter is closed with my last marriage,” says the singer. Luginger adds that they already felt like family. She doesn’t want children of her own, although she loves children. “Stefan already has three wonderful children with whom I get along very well. Just like with Stefan’s mom. That’s why we want to move very close to her.”
Stefan Mross and Anna-Carina Woitschack got engaged in 2019, in June 2020 the wedding followed live on TV as part of the “Schlagerlovestory” show. On November 11, 2022, they announced in a joint separation statement on Instagram that they were “separated yet together, individuals yet one.” Before his marriage to Woitschack, Stefan Mross was married to his colleague Stefanie Hertel (43) from 2006 to 2012. The two are parents of their daughter Johanna Mross (21), who is also a singer. The hit star then went into marriage with the production assistant Susanne Schmidt from 2013 to 2016. From this relationship came another daughter and a son.
Would Mross walk down the aisle a fourth time? “I can’t say that,” he says in the “Bild” interview. “But I’m open to anything.”
