A series of new pictures of the Norwegian Crown Prince couple enchant royal fans. The Norwegian royal family has released a new portrait of Crown Prince Haakon of Norway (50) and his wife, Crown Princess Mette-Marit (50). In the photo, which according to the royal family was taken in the palace in 2023, the popular crown prince couple looks truly royal. Crown Princess Mette-Marit is dressed in a magnificent red dress in the picture. The “Daisy Tiara” adorns her head. The Crown Princess once received the piece of jewelry as a wedding present from her in-laws, King Harald (87) and Queen Sonja (86).

Two new individual photos also show the married couple in portraits. In his picture, Crown Prince Haakon of Norway smiles friendly into the camera, wearing a uniform decorated with numerous medals and awards. In her single photo, Mette-Marit wears a floor-length white robe and combines it with the “Amethyst Necklace Tiara” of her mother-in-law, Queen Sonja. The palace also shared the three new portrait pictures of the crown prince couple on Instagram.

The Norwegian Crown Prince met Princess Anne (73) in Oslo this week. The sister of the British monarch, King Charles III. (75), paid her godson a visit. The two royals visited a museum in Oslo together on May 22nd, as official images shared on Instagram show. Princess Anne stayed in Norway for a total of three days. Before her meeting with Crown Prince Haakon, she attended, among other things, a reception with the British ambassador in Oslo.

Prince Haakon is the heir to the throne of King Harald V. The son of the Norwegian monarch and his wife Queen Sonja was baptized in 1973. Princess Anne was next to King Carl XVI. Gustaf of Sweden (78), Queen Margrethe of Denmark (84), the late King Olav V of Norway (1903-1991) and Princess Astrid (92) are among the European royals who became his godparents.
