Rock star Bruce Springsteen (“Born in the U.S.A.”) has canceled his concert appearances in the USA planned for September on the advice of his doctors. The 73-year-old is being treated for gastric ulcer symptoms, according to a statement on his website on Wednesday (local time).
This month, the rocker and his E Street Band had eight concerts scheduled across the United States, including Washington D.C. and in New York. They are “heartbroken” that they have to postpone the performances, Springsteen wrote. They were looking forward to being back on stage soon.
Springsteen and his E Street Band had previously toured Europe. Her tour in Barcelona began at the end of April. They also gave four concerts in Germany, including in Hamburg and Munich.
