King Charles III (74) and wife Queen Camilla (76) have announced their next state visit. The two will travel to France at the end of September. The palace announced this on its website and in an Instagram post. “Their Majesties will visit Paris and Bordeaux from Wednesday 20th to Friday 22nd September celebrating the shared history, culture and values ​​of the UK and France,” read the post.

The state visit is Charles’ 35th official visit to France and Camilla’s 9th official visit, according to the announcement.

“Further details on the state visit program will be announced in due course,” the website explains. Actually wanted King Charles III. and his wife Camilla will be traveling to France for a state visit in the spring. However, this was postponed in March because of the protests there.

The royal couple is currently enjoying their summer holiday in Balmoral, Scotland.
