Dieter Bohlen (69) has had a packed weekend. The finale of the 20th season “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” took place on Saturday, and on Sunday evening he started his comeback tour through Germany in a good mood. In the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin he presented songs from his decades-long career as a singer and music producer on stage in front of around 4,200 concertgoers. Starting with the modern-talking hit “Atlantis is calling” to the “DSDS” classic “We have a dream”.
In the run-up, Bohlen had titled his tour on the advertising posters as “The greatest comeback of all time”. After the show in Berlin, he posted a photo of the well-filled concert hall on his Instagram story and commented on the whole thing with a simple “Thank you Berlin”. The following stories feature video footage of adoring fans celebrating the musician as a “legend.”
Dieter Bohlen got musical support at his opening concert in the person of his jury colleague Pietro Lombardi (30) on stage. Together they not only sang his “DSDS” winning song “Call my name” from 2011 – but also the big “DSDS” anthem “We have a dream”. Lombardi posted a video of it in his story on Instagram after the concert and wrote: “A team. It was really nice” – with a red heart emoji.
Of course, the newly crowned “DSDS” winner Sem Eisinger (29) could not be missing from the big opening show in Berlin. Among other things, he got the audience in the mood for the pop titan and its following big performance with his winning song “Don’t let me go”.
There are eleven more concerts in Germany, where Dieter Bohlen will celebrate his stage comeback as a singer. Among other things, he will next sing in Leipzig, Kiel and Hamburg. The last concert of the tour will take place on May 7, 2023 in Cologne.
