The singer Sarah Connor (42, “Vincent”) has a full calendar on Christmas Eve. “From noon, my husband and I prepare the roast goose, which takes a few hours. In the afternoon, everyone makes themselves a bit pretty and two hours before the presents are given, the kids are not allowed to come down,” said the mother of four children German press agency. “This is the time when my husband and I sip champagne, toast the year and appreciate the calm before the storm.”
After that, “the real Santa Claus” comes by, she said jokingly. “The children recite poems and we sing together. Then there are presents.” Then there was a lot going on in Connor’s house.
“We are a big family and often have friends who would otherwise be alone on Christmas Eve. This year there is also a Ukrainian family who has been living with us since March. A mother with two boys, four and nine years old. It will be loud, fun and cozy again for sure.”
The musician, who was born in Delmenhorst near Bremen, released her Christmas album “Not So Silent Night” with twelve new songs in English on Friday. She will be on stage in Berlin from November 26th to 29th.
