Did Marvel star Jonathan Majors (33) attack a woman? This question will soon be heard in court. And maybe even more: As “Variety” reports, there should be more alleged victims of abuse who are cooperating with the public prosecutor’s office.

According to the actor’s attorney, Priya Chaudhry, Majors is innocent. She told TMZ, “Jonathan Majors is innocent and has not abused anyone. We have presented irrefutable evidence to the district attorney that the charges are false.”

Accordingly, the actor has a witness who speaks for him. The driver, who is said to have driven Majors and his current ex-girlfriend on the alleged night of the crime, wants to testify for Majors. According to court documents, the driver should be able to testify about what happened between the actor and the woman in March. Accordingly, he is said to have seen the woman attack Majors “while trying to steal his phone”. She reportedly “slapped, clawed and assaulted” Majors until he asked the driver to stop the car so he could get out, which he did. In addition, the driver will testify that Majors “never hit the alleged victim in any way or even raised his voice”.

The woman allegedly told police she sustained a broken finger and a laceration behind her ear during the altercation. According to Chaudhry, there is evidence that this is a “complete lie”. The lawyer presents video evidence in which the woman celebrates in a club and uses her allegedly injured hand without pain. In addition, she is said to have written to Majors after the incident in the car, although she did not mention a possible physical injury in any text.

After the night of partying, the woman drove back to the actor, where he found her around noon the next day and called 911 because she said she had taken sleeping pills and thrown up in his bed. In the document, Chaudhry claims body cam footage shows police questioning the woman and “clearly urging her to say that Mr Majors grabbed her by the throat”.

After the alleged victim’s allegations a few weeks ago, Majors has already felt the consequences. The US trade journal “Deadline” recently reported that the artist agency Entertainment 360 is said to have ended its collaboration with the up-and-coming superstar. A few weeks earlier, Majors had also been fired by his PR company.
