Pop singer Michelle (51) has made a lot of positive headlines in recent weeks when she made her new love for her colleague Eric Philippi (26) public. The 26-year-old young star and the “Who Love Lives” singer could become the new dream couple of the German hit scene. But as the “Bild” newspaper reports, at least one person in Michelle’s environment does not seem to like the new love of the 51-year-old: her manager Markus Krampe. He is said to have ended his collaboration with Michelle after more than two years.

“Since Michelle has been with Eric Philippi, she has been a different person. She is blind with love and completely addicted to him,” explains Krampe to the “Bild” newspaper. Michelle lets her new partner “have a say in everything, including professional ones, but these are things that Eric has no idea about”.

Since the manager, according to his own statement, “was no longer able to have a professional conversation” with the pop singer, he had to end the collaboration, which he was very sorry about.

The Schlager manager, who looked after scandal singer Michael Wendler (51) and his current wife Laura Müller (22) until 2020, also explains that Michelle’s new partner Philippi asked him to take over his management as well. However, he “didn’t want Michelle and Eric to be in the same management team,” Krampe continues. “Because if the two of them separated privately, that would have led to problems.”

Philippi is said to have resented him. The two singers and those newly in love did not comment on the “Bild” newspaper. However, Michelle’s lawyer dismissed her manager’s allegations as untrue.

Michelle and Eric Philippi first went public with their love at the end of last month. “We’ve been inseparable since day one,” the singer gushed about her new partner in the “Bild” newspaper. Philippi confirmed this with the words: “No sheet of paper fits between us. It’s pure love with all rough edges!”
