Star chef Gordon Ramsay is best known for his aggro tirades in the kitchen, for bullying and putting others down. But he can also do it differently. Ramsay is a family man. And the family grows and grows and grows. A few days ago, Gordon Ramsay celebrated his 57th birthday – and his wife, Tana Ramsay (49), gave him a very special birthday present. The British chef, who is also known from television shows such as “Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares” and “Hell’s Kitchen”, has become a father again.
This is the sixth child for Ramsay and his wife, who have been married since 1996. “What a great birthday present,” the chef said happily on Instagram. He also published three pictures from the hospital showing his wife and his new son. In one of the photos he is giving the little one a kiss. “Please welcome Jesse James Ramsay,” the 57-year-old continues, also revealing the child’s name. According to him, the baby weighed the equivalent of just over 3.4 kilograms at birth.
Ramsay also suggests in his post that family planning has now been completed with the birth of little Jesse. “Another bundle of love for the Ramsay brigade,” he writes. And: “Three boys, three girls… Done.” In addition to Jesse, the couple also has daughters Megan and Matilda, twins Jack and Holly and son Oscar. His wife also confirms: “It was a nerve-wracking nine months, but we made it through and were blessed with this little bundle. The Ramsay family is definitely complete. Jesse James Ramsay, we love you so much.”
There were congratulations and more than 1.5 million likes from many of Ramsay’s over 15 million followers – including some celebrities. “Congratulations, buddy,” says Hollywood star Hugh Jackman. His colleague Jeremy Renner also sent a “congratulations”.
