No happy ending for Stella and Dominic on “Germany’s Next Top Model”: The 34-year-old mother of four from Dortmund and the 20-year-old retail clerk from Katlenburg-Lindau failed to convince the jury of their acting skills in the 13th episode of the casting show to convince.

The 16 candidates had to play a scene in pairs with the German Hollywood actor Thomas Kretschmann (“Indiana Jones 5” and “King Kong”). The setting was a 1950s diner, host Heidi Klum took a seat in the director’s chair next to director and screenwriter David Helmut.

Klum: “I didn’t believe a word anyone said”

“With you I was just missing something exciting, something exciting in the game,” was director Helmut’s conclusion about Stella’s performance, and Klum agreed with him. “I didn’t believe a word anyone said,” said actor Kretschmann to Dominic, who had played his scene with Aldin. Stella stood in front of the camera with Xenia.

Dominic said goodbye with an appeal to the many boys like him, “who are told they are too feminine, they are too gay, they are way too much”: “If you feel like wearing any skirt, any shoes or a damn crop top, just do it because it did so, so much for me.”

Jermaine and Lea had already qualified for the next round in a casting. Kadidja had a bout of weakness on set and didn’t even start, but she got on. This leaves 14 candidates for the top model career. In the next episode there will be dancing.
