With their exit from royal life, Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry bought one thing in the first place: freedom. After the so-called “Megxit” they were able to move to the USA and enjoy the benefits of the good Californian weather there. And there are also plenty of leisure activities. Last Monday the evening for the two ex-royals looked like this.
Together with employees of their company Archewell, Meghan and Harry watched a basketball game between the LA Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies. In relaxed attire, they cheered for the team from the VIP box.
A video posted by the NBA on their social channels shows the so-called “kiss cam” catching the couple. Typically, sports fans in the audience kiss when the camera is on them. But while Prince Harry clearly leans over to his wife, Meghan just laughs and pushes him a little to the side.
It is the first time the two have been spotted in public together after Buckingham Palace announced only Prince Harry will attend his father’s coronation on May 6th. Royal fans had puzzled for a long time. Would Meghan arrive from the US, or is the family feud too much of a challenge?
Now you know: Prince Harry will come to Great Britain alone and will also keep his visit short. So far it has been assumed that he will attend the coronation ceremony in Westminster Abbey – but then head straight back to the airport. There is no time for a reconciliatory conversation with his father, King Charles III, and his brother, Prince William. While the family gets together in England, Meghan is set to celebrate son Archie’s fourth birthday in Montecito.
