The “Ku’damm” series on ZDF is probably experiencing a larger leap in time than before. After “Ku’damm ’56” and “’59” and most recently – in 2021 – “Ku’damm ’63”, fans of the film series about the Schöllack women are waiting for new episodes. And they are in the making and should probably play in the 70s, according to ZDF. When asked, the broadcaster in Mainz told the German Press Agency: “We are still developing “Ku’damm 77″. It is still too early to give dates for filming or even broadcast dates. We will communicate that to the given Time.”

So far it has been unclear and there has therefore been speculation as to whether the fourth block of the series developed by Annette Hess might be about the years of the student movement in Berlin in 1967 and ’68.

The series, each with three 90-minute parts, has been broadcast in March 2016, March 2018 and March 2021. After this cycle, “Ku’damm 77” could be something in March 2024.

The three three-part series with actresses such as Sonja Gerhardt, Claudia Michelsen, Maria Ehrich and Emilia Schüle were very popular and had millions of viewers.

That’s why the play “Ku’damm 56 – The Musical” has been running in the Theater des Westens in Berlin since November 2021, for which Hess collaborated as the author of the story with Peter Plate and Ulf Leo Sommer von Rosenstolz.
