Sarah Jessica Parker (58) revealed on Instagram that she has a “And Just Like That…” character very close to her: The actress adopted the cat Shoe of her role Carrie Bradshaw. Alongside multiple photos of the cat, she wrote in her post, “His name off camera is Lotus. He and his siblings were all given botanical names when they were rescued as newborns by the Connecticut Humane Society. Officially held by the Parker/Broderick family im Adopted April 2023.” Lotus has joined Rémy and Smila, “whom we adopted in May 2022. If he looks familiar to you, it’s because he is.”
The Connecticut Humane Society also posted a picture of the house tiger on Instagram, captioning it, “Some pets get really exciting foster homes. Little Lotus got to be in Manhattan on the set of ‘And Just Like That’ with Sarah Jessica Parker! Got his adorable Seen debut? And Spolier! Lotus loved the spotlight so much he decided to stay on the show!”
The series’ Instagram account had also previously shared a clip on Instagram in which the cat made its first appearance in front of the camera.
The second season of the “SATC” spin-off “And Just like That…” (on Sky and the streaming service Wow) recently came to an end. As announced, the season finale saw Samantha Jones again – albeit a very brief one. In the episode, Samantha, Kim Cattrall’s (67) cult role in “Sex and the City”, is on the phone with Carrie in a car. She was actually going to New York to be at Carrie’s last dinner at her old apartment. But the flight is delayed and Samantha says goodbye to Carrie’s legendary apartment on the phone. “Thank you for everything. You damn fabulous, fabulous apartment,” she says into the phone. The guest appearance lasted just 71 seconds.
A third season of “And Just like That…” has already been announced. The Sex and the City spin-off originally returned to screens in December 2021 with the premiere edition. The original series “Sex and the City” aired on premium cable channel HBO from 1998 to 2004. The two cinema films “Sex and the City – Der Film” and “Sex and the City 2” followed in 2008 and 2010, before the follow-up series started after a break of around eleven years.
