Cake artist Emma Jayne created a royal out of icing and baked King Charles (74) into a life-sized cake. Modeling the eyes was particularly laborious, she said, according to the British broadcaster BBC.

Jayne therefore attached great importance to ensuring that the figure looked lifelike. “I can’t wait for people to see her up close.”

Your cake king will be shown at the Cake International exhibition in Birmingham, England. The head was made of puffed rice and marshmallows, the BBC reported on Friday. The face was therefore formed from modeling chocolate.

Charles’ sweet image wore a cloak, an orb and a scepter. The crown was decorated with around 2,500 rhinestones, the report said. The body is covered with sugar paste. For example, the exhibition also shows a sculpture of the musician Ozzy Osbourne (74) with black fingernails and a cross hanging around his neck.
