Prince Harry’s memoirs are causing a sensation. And that’s before they even appeared. Harry’s life story should actually find its way to its readers in November, but it is currently uncertain when it will actually come onto the market.
Tom Bower, author of the book “Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors” and royal expert, tells the US magazine “Page Six” that the royal family is “extremely nervous” about the content.
According to numerous reports, Prince Harry tried to change passages afterwards – and possibly weaken them. The trigger was apparently the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
“I think everyone knows that the Sussexes can’t change the book in any way,” Tom Bower told the magazine. “Can they do it any worse? Because otherwise we wouldn’t get any sales,” he explains. He just doesn’t think Harry wanted to change passages to smooth things over.
On the contrary, according to Bower, the son of King Charles III. also write down what happened after the Queen’s death. “There will just be more material about how they were snubbed and all the other abuse against the royal family, so I think the delay will add to the poison,” argues the expert.
The written life story of the Duke of Sussex is a “time bomb,” says Bower “Page Six”. The Netflix docu-series about the Sussex couple, which has been in the works for some time, is also causing difficulties. The streaming service was actually planning a release at the end of this year. But even with the documentary series, Prince Harry allegedly wanted to fix things. Netflix cameramen could be seen accompanying the two on various dates with the Sussexes.
