Jack Nicholson (86) is back in public. The Hollywood star attended the Los Angeles Lakers playoff game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The three-time Oscar winner was apparently in a good mood and clapping on the edge of the field. According to the New York Post, it is Nicholson’s first public appearance since attending a Lakers game with his son Ray in October 2021.
There had previously been rumors that the actor’s environment was worried because he was said to live very withdrawn. The 86-year-old, who wore burgundy trousers, a black shirt and a blue jacket, did not look stricken in his most recent appearance, as the “New York Post” further reports. He is said to have beamed and had a good chat with other viewers and reporters. According to the report, Jack Nicholson also hugged Lakers superstar LeBron James (38) before the game.
The famous mime has been said to have been attending basketball team games regularly since 1970. Reportedly, Nicholson used to adjust his filming schedules to make sure he could catch every big Lakers game. However, the 86-year-old has not been seen on the big screen for a long time: his last film “How do you know that it’s love” was shown in 2010. In 2013 he told the “Sun” that it was no longer so important to him “to be out there”. “The film business is the biggest business, but I just want to make films that move people, films about emotions and people,” he explained. He should now devote himself to painting, among other things, it is said about the star.
Jack Nicholson was nominated for an Oscar twelve times in his long career and won the golden boy three times: in 1976 as best actor for “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, 1984 as best supporting actor in “Age of Love” and again in 1998 as best actor for his performance in “It doesn’t get any better”.
