During the concert in Munich’s Olympic Stadium, when a new era had dawned for the rock band Rammstein and probably also for rock music as a whole, Till Lindemann sat down on a box. As at every concert, the 60-year-old frontman stomps through a show of noise and fire that evening. He sings lines like: “In the dark he sneaks up / If you’re not good, he touches you.” And, like at every concert, it is celebrated by tens of thousands of fans.
