The composer icons Ralph Siegel (78) and Christian Bruhn (89) as well as pop star Bata Illic (84) spent a few weeks together in the Jägerwinkel private clinic on Tegernsee. The three music stars were recovering from various health problems during their rehabilitation. As the “Bild” newspaper now reports, the three were able to leave the clinic again after their chance meeting.

ESC composer Ralph Siegel had to recover from the strain of spinal surgery. Illic had hip surgery after breaking his hip and Bruhn suffered from an intestinal obstruction and also had to undergo surgery. All three threw themselves back into work after their rehabilitation stay. According to “Bild”, Siegel is preparing for the season of his musical “A Little Peace” from May 8th to 19th at the Deutsches Theater in Munich. Bata Illic was already back on stage with colleague Andy Borg (63).

“Miracles always happen” composer Christian Bruhn is working on new music in his Munich recording studio. After his stay in the hospital he became thinner, “that suits me quite well,” he told the “Bild”. “I’m currently recording a new album with poems by the writer James Krüss set to music. Katja Ebstein is also there.”

The joint meeting at Tegernsee apparently helped the music stars recover. “It’s so nice that I met Ralph and Christian here,” Illic explained to “Bild” during their stay. “We finally have time to tell each other so much. Of course our favorite topic is music.”
