Prince Harry (38) will attend the coronation concert in honor of his father, King Charles III. (74) do not visit. As the British “Mirror” reports, the prince has already informed the monarch of his decision. He doesn’t want a place to be reserved for him there. According to the report, the reason for his absence is that he will return to his adopted homeland of the USA shortly after the actual coronation on May 6th in Westminster Abbey.

The concert with Lionel Richie (73), Katy Perry (38) and Take That takes place the day after the coronation at Windsor Castle. However, Harry prefers to rush to California to celebrate the fourth birthday of his son Archie, who was born on May 6, 2019. After a long back and forth, Prince Harry’s participation was finally confirmed last week. His wife, Duchess Meghan (41), will not travel to London, but will stay with their children Archie and Lilibet (1).

The report also states that Harry will not be making any other appointments in London, but will only be there for the actual coronation ceremony. There will also be no rumored visits from charities with which Prince Harry is connected. A source close to the royal family called Harry’s forthcoming appearance a “fleeting visit”. However, it is said that Harry is planning a longer stay in his native Great Britain in the summer.
