The butterflies in Emily Ratajkowski’s stomach seem to be fluttering. After footage showed the 31-year-old intimately snogging ex-One Direction star Harry Styles, the rumor mill surrounding a new relationship between the two celebs has really gotten going. The pictures published by the “Daily Mail” two weeks ago show the two approaching each other on a street in the Japanese capital.
Recordings from the podcast “Going Mental with Eileen Kelly” are now providing plenty of material for discussion, in which the supermodel is surprisingly open about her current relationship status. In the interview, which was published in early March, Ratajkowski reveals that she has been dating someone since February. The model leaves open whether this is heartthrob Harry Styles. After the latest recordings with Styles in Tokyo, however, the idea is by no means unreasonable. Emily split from producer and husband Sebastian Bear-McClard in September last year, and Harry also split from his then flame Olivia Wilde at the end of 2022.
In any case, Emily seems to be serious about the new relationship: “I just started dating someone who I really like and who is very different,” reveals the Victoria Secret model and continues: “This someone is great”. Regarding her marriage to Sebastian Bear-McClard, she hopes she won’t have the same difficulties with her new partner that she had before. McClard, with whom the model has a son, is said to have cheated on her several times in four years of marriage. To avoid similar experiences in the future, Ratjakowski would like someone who is independent and leads a fulfilling life themselves.
The description definitely applies to Styles. The “As it was” singer is again on a world tour this year as part of his “Love On Tour”, filling one concert hall after the other and storming the charts at regular intervals. He is also enjoying increasing success as an actor. Last year he starred in the thriller “Don’t Worry Darling”, where he also met and fell in love with his ex-partner Olivia Wilde.
Ratjakowski and Styles are equally silent on the recently released recordings. Although the singer’s list of ex-girlfriends is long, he is known for preferring to keep his love life out of the public eye.
In “Rolling Stone” he said last summer: “If someone takes a picture of you with someone, it doesn’t mean that you have decided on a public relationship.” Ratjakowski definitely fits into his prey scheme – after dalliances with “Victoria Secret” models like Kendall Jenner or Georgia Fowler.
