With his überengagierten Occur and his seemingly boundless enthusiasm of the super daddy, reaps storms, but the hoped-for enthusiasm, but rather entnervtes eye rolls. Nevertheless, its place in the exotic ragtag troupe Wants to find quickly – although by then, some foreign shame on moments of waiting.

As so often in American Sitcoms many of the characters are over-subscribed. Since Sophie is exaltierter and very fashion-conscious classmate Rory (Devin Trey Campbell), the sensitive mothers son Graham (Tyler Wladis) and, not least, Douglas (Brad Garrett). The nifty Businessman raising his twin daughters, according to the Maxim of self-optimization, and spends his spare time either with a neat glass of Single Malt in Hand, a juicy Steak on the plate, or in a sweat in the hotel’s own Sauna.
To genre models, such as “Modern Family” and “Community” in Fan circles, the cult status of Single Parents not enjoy it. The laughs are set to sparse, and the figure drawing of the Series creators Elizabeth Meriwether (“New Girl”) and J. J. Philbin (“The O. C.”) is too flat. Who expects, however, that not hilarious Gags on the Assembly line, can win the Comedy series still a bit.
