When it comes to film, Lindsay Lohan (36) has been pretty quiet in recent years. The US actress will soon be back with a new comedy. Netflix is showing the romantic Christmas film Falling for Christmas, starring Lohan, starting November 10. The streaming service released a first trailer on October 7th.
The clip makes it pretty clear where the journey is going. “Falling for Christmas” obviously offers entertainment for the heart and funny bone of fans of romantic comedy. Even a short synopsis of the film’s plot already gives an idea of what the whole thing will ultimately lead to.
Spoiled hotel heiress Sierra (Lohan) just got engaged. But luck does not last long, because after a rather strange accident, she loses her memory. In the middle of the holiday season, she finds herself in the care of Jake, played by Chord Overstreet (33). The handsome pensioner and his precocious daughter (Olivia Perez) seem to grow fond of Sierra.
Lohan is also shooting another rom-com for Netflix, as the streaming service confirmed in early September. The actress also stars in Irish Wish. Who will be seen next to it and when the whole thing will appear is currently unknown. As with “Falling for Christmas”, Janeen Damian (61) directs.
