The 14 professional dancers for the 16th season “Let’s Dance” have been determined. In addition to 13 well-known faces, there is also a debutante, as the broadcaster RTL announced on Tuesday. The 25-year-old Mariia Maksina from Cologne accompanies a star through the popular show for the first time.

“Yeah, now it’s out! And I can officially announce it: ‘Yes, I’m part of the 16th season of ‘Let’s Dance’,” writes the 25-year-old overjoyed on Instagram. “I’m so excited for the show, for my fellow dancers and for the upcoming journey to accompany the new season of this great show ‘Let’s Dance’. I’m overjoyed to have had this opportunity and thank those responsible for it,” said Maksina . “I’m so excited to see who my partner will be. What do you think, who am I going to dance with,” she asks her more than 15,000 followers.

Maksina is not completely new to the “Let’s Dance” parquet: in the 2018 final, she danced disguised in the freestyle dances of Pascal Hens (42) and Ingolf Lück (64). In a few weeks, however, she will be in the spotlight with her own celebrity dance partner.

In addition to the euphoric debutante, there are also some fan favorites among the professional dancers, who have actually long been stars themselves. The spectators can look forward to Massimo Sinató (42), Ekaterina Leonova (35) and Isabel Edvardsson (40). But also Christina Luft (32), Kathrin Menzinger (34), Patricija Ionel (28), Renata Lusin (35), Alexandru Ionel (28), Andrzej Cibis (35), Christian Polanc (44), Vadim Garbuzov (35), Valentin Lusin (35) and Zsolt Sándor Cseke (35) are there again.

Among the celebrity ladies who will be dancing on TV next month are “GZSZ” star Chryssanthi Kavazi (33), cooking influencer and model Sally Özcan (34), Julia Beautx (23), known from the TV “Spring” series and YouTuber, ex-“GNTM” star and model Alex Mariah Peter (25) and Sharon Battiste (31), ex-Bachelorette and actress.

Natalia Yegorova (48, formerly Klitschko) and Anna Ermakova (22) were only revealed later by RTL. Yegorova is the ex-wife of Kiev’s mayor and ex-boxing star Vitali Klitschko (51), she is described by the broadcaster as a “singer/songwriter
