US President Joe Biden paid a visit to comedian Seth Meyers on his talk show. The 81-year-old came to the taping of Meyer’s “Late Night” show in New York. The program was supposed to be broadcast on German morning.
In a pre-aired video, Biden said: “It’s nice to be back. Why didn’t you invite me sooner?” Biden was a guest on the show ten years ago. Then as now, comedian Amy Poehler was a guest alongside Biden. The US President rarely gives TV interviews – but he is often available to answer questions at appointments when the press in attendance asks questions.
