Former late-night presenter Jay Leno was treated for burns in the hospital for ten days – now, according to US media reports, the 72-year-old has been able to leave the clinic again. Leno will continue to be treated on an outpatient basis for injuries to his face, chest and hands, several media sources quoted from a statement from the clinic on Monday (local time). However, one is optimistic that he will make a full recovery.
One photo showed Leno smiling with the hospital staff. You could see injuries in the jaw area, among other things.
The TV star was reportedly burned in his California garage on November 12. One of his vehicles suddenly caught fire. “I’m ok, just need a week or two to get back on my feet,” Leno said after the accident.
Leno is known as a passionate collector of cars and motorcycles. From 2015, his column “Jay Leno’s Garage” for the magazine “Popular Mechanics” became a TV show that Leno hosts. He is one of the most successful talk show hosts in the USA. Until 2014, the comedian led the popular “Tonight Show”.
