Some people collect stamps, Pietro Lombardi (30) apparently collects points in Flensburg. As his newly engaged Laura reveals in the joint podcast “On Off”, she almost got hit when sorting Pietro’s bills: “I’ll tell you honestly – half [of the folders] are full of fines.” Post seems to have come in frequently, especially from Flensburg.
Her future husband has already collected eleven points. His beloved immediately wondered how that could even be. “I wonder how he did it. You can usually see in his story that he lets himself be driven around. He actually never drives himself. But Mr. Lombardi still manages to collect eleven points in Flensburg.”
Anyone who is familiar with traffic offenses knows that the driving license is actually gone from eight points. So did Lombardi just admit to driving without a license? He promptly puts the statements of his fiancees into perspective and reveals that some of these points (between four and six) come from his various drivers, not from himself. “They were simply charged to me because someone drove one of my cars. [ …] They’re being taken away from me now. So I’m still screwed, but I can keep my driver’s license.”
Will that change before the birth of their child? “In an emergency, when the contractions come, my wife has to bite the bullet” and drive to the hospital herself, jokes the musician. About two months ago, the couple, who have also been engaged for a few days, announced that they would be parents together for the first time. So Lombardi will have to be careful with the gas pedal for a while if he really wants to drive his Laura to the clinic himself.
