“I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!” going into a new round in a few weeks. After a Corona-related trip to South Africa last year, the jungle camp is going to Australia again this time. As the broadcaster “RTL.de” reports, the start date for the upcoming edition of the reality TV show has now been set.
The 16th season starts on Friday, January 13th at 9:30 p.m. on RTL (also via RTL). The fans can also look forward to the fact that there will be one more live show in 2023. Thus, on Sunday, January 29, in the grand finale, the successor to the reigning king of the jungle, Filip Pavlović (28), will be appointed. On Monday, January 30th, the reunion of the jungle stars will follow on “I’m a star – get me out of here! The big reunion”.
For the first time, Sonja Zietlow (54) will moderate the popular reality show together with Jan Köppen (39) after Daniel Hartwich (44) said goodbye. The duo will fly to Australia, where the show is typically filmed. Jungle camp doctor Dr. Bob (72) will also be there. Due to Corona, the jungle camp had to move once to South Africa in 2022. After the daily jungle camp live broadcast, what is happening in the camp is discussed again in “The Hour After”. In addition, Angela Finger-Erben (42) and Olivia Jones (53) invite guests to the live show in Cologne.
In the past few weeks there has already been speculation as to who will move into the jungle camp. The rumor mill produced names like model and designer Claudia Effenberg (57), actress Jana Pallaske (43), “Bauer sucht Frau” star Patrick Romer (27) or ex-“Germany’s next top model” candidate Tessa Bergmeier (33). “We will announce shortly which candidates will take on cockroaches, spiders and snakes (possibly also human ones),” the broadcaster said in a current announcement.
