Like Jada Pinkett Smith (52), her brother, actor and producer Caleeb Pinkett (43), is currently going through a breakup. On Monday (October 16), his estranged wife Patricia Pinkett filed for divorce in Los Angeles.
This emerges from court documents that are said to be available to “People”. Accordingly, she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce. The couple has been married since 2006 and separated a few years ago – namely in February 2020, as the documents further show. The two have daughter Caila Koren (11) together. Patricia Pinkett applied for joint custody, but also demands maintenance from her husband.
She is said to be very close with her famous sister-in-law. Just in May, she shared a photo with Jada Pinkett Smith on her Instagram page and wrote: “Nothing but extreme gratitude for my soul. I love you to infinity and beyond.”
The news of the impending divorce comes just a few days after the talk show host surprisingly revealed in an interview that she and Will Smith (55) have been secretly separated for seven years. Divorce doesn’t seem to be an issue for them yet. The mother of two just explained that the two stars were trying to repair their marriage.
