Actress Isabell Horn (39) will emigrate with her family this year. As she told the “Bild” newspaper, she is going to Sweden by “New Year’s Eve at the latest”.
“We traveled a lot through this beautiful country and fell in love with shock,” said Isabell Horn, who became known with the series “Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten”. You like “simply everything” about Sweden: “The nature, the people, the food, the serenity.” A few days ago she announced to her 214,000 Instagram followers that there would be a big change soon. Now there is a rental contract for a house near Stockholm.
“It feels like a big adventure,” says the actress. You had dreamed of emigrating for a long time. “And at some point we thought: why not? Why should we hesitate and always ask ourselves afterwards whether we missed something.” But it shouldn’t be a final farewell to Germany: “We’ll keep our apartment here in Berlin because we’ll often be in Germany to work.”
The move is not a professional problem. She can “practice her job as an influencer all over the world”. And for the shooting of her current series “Betty’s Diagnosis” in Cologne, she is almost faster from Sweden than from Berlin at the moment. “Stockholm is just over an hour’s flight away. When the train was late again recently, my journey from Berlin to Cologne took seven hours. I’m faster from Sweden.”
Her partner Jens Ackermann also wants to commute for his real estate company. Everything is already organized for the two children: “In Sweden, compulsory schooling begins at the age of seven. Ella therefore goes to pre-school, Fritz goes to kindergarten”.
Isabell Horn played in the RTL series “Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten” until 2014, and she has been with the ZDF series “Bettys Diagnose” since 2020. With her longtime partner Jens Ackermann she has daughter Ella (6) and son Fritz (3).
