Patrick J. Adams (42) recently rummaged through his memory box and posted photos on Instagram from the set of the legal series “Suits”, which ended in 2019. Why the Canadian actor, who played the main role of Mike Ross, regrets the publication , he has now explained in an Instagram story. He also removed the pictures again.
The photos, which Adams captioned with “I miss my friends”, included his co-stars Sarah Rafferty (50, Donna Paulson) and Meghan Markle (42), now Duchess Meghan. The latter played paralegal Rachel Zane alongside Patrick J. Adams from 2011 to 2018. He now said in a statement about the release of the images: “Over the last few days, I have foolishly and thoughtlessly allowed a trip down memory lane ‘Suits’ to distract me from the very real and ongoing battle that everyone at SAG-AFTRA is currently fighting – for adequate remuneration and protection for members in the 21st century.” Adams is alluding to the still ongoing strike by the actors’ union SAG-AFTRA.
He wanted to apologize for this “embarrassing oversight” for which he was “incredibly sorry.” “I’m so grateful to the people who gently and quickly corrected me here, and I look forward to continuing the fight in the days and weeks to come,” the actor concluded.
“Suits” ran for nine seasons from 2011 to 2019. The current Duchess Meghan and Patrick J. Adams left the series at the end of the seventh season, which aired in spring 2018. In May 2018, the actress married Prince Harry (39) in England. Some of her “Suits” colleagues, including Adams, were among the guests. “Suits” has enjoyed growing popularity in the USA since its release on Netflix.
