Has Harry Styles (28) treated himself to a new property? And is it the “saddest property” of all time? The musician is rumored to have bought a villa in North Devon, England for eight million pounds. Several potential neighbors reported this to the Daily Star magazine.

“It’s the talk of the village. Harry Styles is said to have bought the house for £8million. I don’t know if it’s just silent mail but everyone is talking about it,” an insider is said to have told the magazine. “I heard Harry Styles bought the house. I don’t know if that’s true, but if he is then he’s very welcome,” explained another resident.

The house is located in the North Devon region in the village of Croyde Bay in South West England. The mansion was described as “the saddest house ever” on Channel 4’s Grand Designs. The reason for this is that the owner Edward Short got into financial difficulties during the construction of the villa – partly because of the corona pandemic. The “failed” project then also led to the divorce from his wife Hazel.

Styles has not yet confirmed that he has bought the mansion. However, he was spotted in the area earlier this year, according to the Daily Star. However, a spokesman for real estate company Knight Frank told Newsoutlet that Harry Styles’ move is just rumours: “It is not true that Harry Styles bought the Chesil Cliff house. The mansion is still on the property Market.” Another real estate agent from the area also considers the assumptions to be unlikely. “It’s just a local North Devon rumour. Wishful thinking. I don’t think most people here believe that,” he said.
