Do you like camping or do you prefer a hotel holiday where many of your wishes are read from your eyes? I actually always felt like I belonged to those who prefer the rolling home. But last summer I changed my mind. The campsites in South Tyrol were packed, nothing went there without a reservation. The Germans had the region firmly in their hands.

We almost ended the holiday if it wasn’t for the restaurant at the campsite, where we still got a place. South Tyrolean cuisine can console you for many things. Also about neighbors who meticulously mark off their area with blue and white striped tarpaulins, as you know from the Baltic Sea holidaymakers on the beach.
