Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow (50) and her ex-husband, Coldplay singer Chris Martin, continue to get along splendidly. On his 46th birthday on March 2, the actress shared a rare photo of the two together on Instagram, writing to her 8.2 million followers, “Happy birthday to the sweetest father and friend. We love you.” She also posted a heart emoji. Paltrow wears barely-there makeup in the snap, large horn-rimmed glasses, and is apparently leaning her head on her ex-husband’s in a parking lot. Martin and Paltrow also pulled their black corona masks under their respective chins for the probably spontaneous recording.
Paltrow and Martin were married from 2003 to 2016. Together they have daughter Apple, 18, and son Moses, 16. In a jointly written statement on the separation, they spoke of an amicable decision as early as March 2014. They have “decided with a heavy heart” to end the relationship. Since then, the musician and actress have continued to be good friends who put the well-being of their children first.
Gwyneth Paltrow has been married to TV producer Brad Falchuk (52) since September 2018. The two announced their engagement in January 2018. The actress was previously engaged to her colleague Brad Pitt (59) from 1995 to 1997 and to Ben Affleck (50) from 1998 to 2000. Chris Martin has been in a committed relationship with actress Dakota Johnson (33) since 2017. Between the breakup with Paltrow and his love for Johnson, Martin is rumored to have been with Rihanna (35) and Jennifer Lawrence (32), among others.
