Season 19 of “Bauer sucht Frau” (Monday, 8:15 p.m. on RTL, also on RTL) starts with a historic quota for women. This time two farmers’ women are looking for a man from Inka Bause (54). Originally there was even talk of three female farmers, but one dropped out.
Stefanie (41) invited three men to the barn party. And they couldn’t be more different. Candidate number one is a 1.90 meter tall muscle man with a bald head and a wild beard. Number two, a slim person wearing glasses with a neatly trimmed beard. And number three is somewhere in between. Also beard and glasses, but stockier.
But Stefanie’s number one is her five-year-old daughter anyway. The chicken farmer’s cavaliers have to be able to deal with this. Stefanie ultimately decides against the muscle man. In return, the glasses-wearing Philipp (37) and Timo (37) are allowed to go with her to the farm in northern Germany.
Carolin (27) even invited four men. The horse owner has never had a serious relationship. For her it’s all or nothing. Either she finds someone to marry straight away or she prefers to leave it alone. The right person should be well-groomed, she finds motorcyclists “sexy”. Ultimately, the Hessian chooses Lucas (26). He didn’t have a partnership yet either. He lacks the “bad boy” touch. But Carolin finds that exactly what she likes. Even without a motorcycle.
Three farmers also had three candidates each come forward. Livestock farmer Daniel (26) is thrilled with his selection. He thinks all three women are dashing. And he says the same thing to all three in a one-on-one conversation. There was intimate eye contact and there was a “sizzle” between everyone. But then he only takes Valentina (21) with him to the court week in Lower Bavaria. This is what his “heart whispered” to him. Her competitors come away empty-handed, even though they found that they and Daniel either “matched” or “vibed”.
Like Daniel, dairy farmer André (33) reduced his number from three to one. He chooses Julia (29). She is “overwhelmed by her feelings”: “Zack, boom”. Patrick (27), also a dairy farmer, doesn’t want to make a decision as early as his colleague. He invites Annika (26) and Sarina (24) to his farm in Belgium. Competitor Mathea comes away empty-handed.
Bull breeder and Discofox fan Siegfried (64) is completely postponing his decision. He finds his applicants Patricia (53) and Simone (55) both “sexy”. So the disco fox simply takes both of them with him to Hesse.
Stephan (31) also doesn’t give out any rejections. Instead, Lisa turns him down: “The spark didn’t really fly for me.” But their competitor Laura (26) wants to go to the farm. But first the farmer should perhaps transplant. Because: “Garlic is my life,” enthuses Laura. Stephan is not a fan of the leek plant, he tries to bargain Laura down to garlic once or twice a week. But she insists on three times a week. What if this isn’t the first conflict of the season?
Sheep farmer and Schuhplattler Hannes (24) doesn’t think about garlic with his two potential ladies-in-waiting, but rather about the importance of breakfast. After careful consideration, the relay junior decides on Jenny (20).
After ten years of hesitation, Steffen (42) finally decided to apply for “Bauer sucht Frau”. The full-time butcher is also a suckler cow farmer and has bought a car with a bull in the logo: a high-priced Lamborghini. In it he wants to drive his chosen one, Kathrin (39), to his farm.
Eco-farmer Christoph (28) is initially subjected to torture by his Lisa (28). The punk rocker and part-time vegan described her competitor as a “cool horn”, but dismissed her as more of a buddy companion for festivals. Only at the party and under gentle pressure from Inka Bause does Lisa give her go for the farm week.
Dietrich-Max-Helmut (70) is a pensioner and passionate horse owner. He doesn’t give his applicants any romantic illusions. You also have to help him with the horses and with unpleasant tasks such as cleaning windows. When Susanne (61) reveals that she can’t cook, Dietrich-Max-Helmut’s jaw drops briefly. But when she reported that she was the first woman to take part in the Spanish carriage championship, he was on fire again. The man with the triple name takes the woman from Valencia to Brandenburg.
And then there is Hans (65). He lives “among horses” in the Eifel and has been alone since he separated from his wife ten years ago. Now everything could happen quickly. With Elke (62), Hans speaks of “love at first sight”.
