To celebrate her 33rd birthday, Emma Watson got back to her fans on Instagram after a long social media hiatus. In a long text she reports in detail about her adventures, experiences and insights of the last time. Among other things, she describes how she has spent her time off in recent months.
“I left my life behind – I learned to surf (poorly), I rode horses (that worked better), I did a lot of therapy,” writes Watson. She also teamed up with her younger brother Alex Watson (30) for a new project called Renais and adopted a dog named Sofia from Mexico.
Sadly, she had to say goodbye to her grandmother and grandfather. But other topics have also kept her very busy in the past: “I was very sad and really angry about a lot of things”. But she also learned “more about love” and what it means “to be a woman”.
Emma Watson seems to be getting more and more into her own center, she continues to write on Instagram: “It took three years, but I finally found a daily routine and I can keep it up for more than a few days at a time.” She feels like a butterfly today after not being ready to emerge from her “Covid cocoon” on her birthday last year.
Her younger brother Alex also congratulated her on her birthday with a sweet Instagram post. For a child picture of himself and Emma he wrote: “For Ems, the happiest of all birthdays to the best of all older sisters! I wish you a wonderful day and can’t wait to see what you achieve this year.” He also shared a hilarious pros and cons list of what it means to have Emma as a big sister. One of the disadvantages he cited was that he was always referred to as the “hairier version” of her.
