Emma Heming-Willis (44) looks back on good times with husband Bruce Willis (68). The 44-year-old shared a video montage on Instagram. The clip shows the couple renewing their wedding vows after ten years in 2019. Overall, the model and the Hollywood star, who suffers from dementia, have been married for 14 years.
In her post, Heming-Willis thanked everyone involved in the 2019 ceremony, including Demi Moore, 60, who was in charge of the videotaping, and Rumer, 34, and Scout Willis, 31, who appeared during the ceremony presented vocal accompaniments. Stephen Eads, 64, Bruce Willis’ longtime friend, officiated at the wedding in 2009 and also the renewal of vows in 2019, Emma Heming-Willis explained.
The video, accompanied by the Coldplay song “Fix You”, shows the bride walking with her two flower girls through a meadow to the altar, where she is greeted by Willis and Eads. She and her husband then kiss. At the end you can see two group shots of the blended family. “On our 10th wedding anniversary, we decided to renew our vows in the same place where we said ‘yes’ in 2009,” the bride wrote. “I’m so glad we did that.”
Her post continues: “Take every opportunity to come together and celebrate with family and friends. These are the moments and beautiful memories that you can hold on to for a lifetime.” She added, “And we can keep those memories safe and alive for those who may not be able to.”
Willis’ family announced in February that the actor had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. In 2022 she had already made it public that the Hollywood star suffered from the language disorder aphasia.
