Ellen DeGeneres celebrated her 66th birthday on January 26th. On the occasion of her special day, her wife Portia de Rossi (50) dedicated a sweet declaration of love to her on Instagram. In a video that shows the US talk show legend in top shape during a session in the gym, the Australian wrote that her “dear wife” always “amazes” and “inspires” her.
She continues to rave about the presenter: “Happy birthday to the strongest, sweetest and most brilliant person I know. I’m so happy to stand next to you as we share this incredible life together. I love you.”
DeGeneres commented on the loving post with several red heart emojis. Some congratulatory posts also came from Kris Jenner (68), who married the two when they renewed their wedding vows around a year ago. “Happy birthday to my best friend,” she wrote in an Instagram Story that shows her hand in hand with DeGeneres. She has been a good friend of the presenter and her wife for years.
DeGeneres and de Rossi tied the knot in August 2008. In 2010, the actress officially changed her name to Portia Lee James DeGeneres.
