Demi Moore (61) and Melanie Griffith (66) appear together again after a long time. In 1995, the actresses starred together in the coming-of-age film “Now and Then”. 29 years later, they posed together at the “Unforgettable Evening” charity event. Arm in arm, they beamed into the cameras in Beverly Hills. The event benefits the Women’s Cancer Research Fund.

For the photographers, the Hollywood stars provided a nice contrast. While Moore wore a black halter dress with a high leg slit and sparkling jewelry, Griffith appeared in all white. She paired her pants suit with a ruffled blouse. The former co-stars hugged each other on the red carpet, held hands in the photos and laughed heartily together.

The cult classic “Now and Then” is about four women who remember a summer together in their youth in 1970. In addition to Moore and Griffith, Rosie O’Donnell (62) and Rita Wilson (67) took on the main roles. The latter was also at the charity event with her husband Tom Hanks (67). Moore also posed familiarly with her on the red carpet.

The “Unforgettable Evening” was a special evening for Demi Moore: she was honored for her commitment. The Courage Award recognized “her unwavering support and commitment to raising breast cancer awareness,” according to People magazine.

The American was accompanied to the event by her aunt Diana, who herself was suffering from breast cancer. In her speech, Moore honored her aunt’s “incredible courage” and “attitude” as a survivor of the disease. She inspired her to stay strong no matter what life throws her and her family’s way.
