In the 100 metres backstroke was the talent Victoria Bierre on 19 years in the water, but it ended with a næstsidsteplads among the 16 semifinalister for the young dane.

Denmark’s biggest star in the backstroke, Mie Ø. Nielsen has signed up to the european championships in Scotland.

Denmark provides a total of 23 swimmers at the european championships in Glasgow – among other OL-guldvinderen Pernille Blume and Jeanette Ottesen. EM-the regatta ends on Sunday.
