There is no rest for the “Let’s Dance” dance couple Sharon Battiste and Christian Polanc. The two have been stalked online for weeks. The bachelorette and the dancer are just not meant to get along. Several attempts by the two to refute the rumors were unsuccessful. Now Amira Pocher is also getting involved in the matter – and throwing a dig at Battiste.
Amira Pocher is no stranger to the dance floor on “Let’s Dance”. She herself was part of the show’s 15th season, dancing with Massimo Sinató at the time. In the latest podcast episode of “Die Pochers” she now commented on one or the other headline. Battiste is said to have been rumored to have been upset about Polanc’s smell of sweat and even called for a change of partner, as “Bild” reported. The dancer himself called the rumors on Instagram at the time “kids’ shit and sensationalism”.
“Did Christian Polanc stink now?” Oliver Pocher asked his wife provocatively as usual in the podcast. Amira Pocher had come close to Polanc herself on the show and danced with him for a week. But she didn’t know anything about bad smells. “He didn’t stink,” she said, speculating in a completely different direction.
So she can imagine that it was more of an excuse that Battiste wanted to use to change partners. She knows that Christian Polanc is “very strict” “and there have certainly been one or the other partner in the past who didn’t get along with him so well”. But Amira Pocher doesn’t see anything unusual in that, after all, the dance partners don’t know each other before the show.
One of Polanc’s less fortunate dance partners was pop singer Vanessa Mai. “I got a dance partner with whom I had no connection at first,” quoted “OK! Online” from Mai’s biography “I do it Mai way”. Mai had the feeling that the vibe between the two “was not optimal”.
