One of the most attractive aspects of the world of wine is seeing how the personality of its creators is magically imprinted on the liquid. This is the case with the wines from the Alonso del Yerro winery, which exude elegance and roots like the marriage that founded it two decades ago, formed by María del Yerro and Javier Alonso.

Throughout this time they have created deep ties and have seen their Tempranillo vines grow alongside their family. Their goal has always been to produce wines that express ‘terroir’, which is why they have focused on thoroughly studying the soils of their 26 hectares. For this they have had from the beginning the complicity of their oenologist, Stéphane Derenoncourt, as well as the great expert Claude Bourguignon, who for four years analyzed the soil of the plots.

Its flagship, Alonso del Yerro, is presented in the 2018 vintage with a renewed image thanks to the new design of its label. Its interior reveals the evolution of the winery while staying true to its style. It is a wine made to be enjoyed from the first moment. It combines fruit and freshness with a solid structure, achieving new levels of subtlety.
