The US musician Madonna (64) thanked her fans for the recovery wishes after a hospital stay. She was “on the mend,” said Madonna via Instagram.
“I am now concentrating on my health and getting stronger and I can assure you that I will be with you again as soon as possible.”
Severe bacterial infection
Because of a severe bacterial infection, the pop star had to spend several days in intensive care in June and initially postponed his world tour, which was originally planned for July 15th. When she woke up in the hospital, the first thing she thought of was her children, Madonna wrote. The second thought was for their fans. “I didn’t want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for the tour.”
The “current plan” is to postpone the North American part of the tour, but to let the European part take place as planned from October. Concerts were planned on November 15th and 16th in Cologne and on November 28th and 29th in Berlin.
