Darren Kent is dead. At the age of 36 he died surrounded by his family and succumbed to his serious illnesses. His agency, Carey Dodd Associates, shared the news on social media. She wrote: “It is with deep sadness that we have to announce that our dear friend and customer Darren Kent passed away peacefully on Friday. His parents and best friend were by his side. Our thoughts and love are with his family at this difficult time . RIP my friend.”

Kennt was a prominent actor who had long suffered from osteoporosis, arthritis and an extremely rare skin condition. He worked as a director and actor, worked among others in “Game of Thrones”, “Dungeons

“Darren was not only a talented actor, director and writer, but also one of the friendliest people I have ever met. It was a privilege and a pleasure to have been a part of his journey.”

Kent only appeared very briefly in “Game of Thrones”, but his scene should be well known to many. In the final episode of season four, Kent appears as a goatherd before Daenerys Targaryen, who has taken charge of the desert town of Mereen. He carries a bundle of cloth full of human bones, badly charred. He laments that Daenerys Targaryen’s greatest dragon, Drogon, burned his daughter to death. She then imprisons two of her three dragons under the palace.

His last Instagram post is from July 24, apparently from a wedding reception in Santorini, Greece. Kent, who is being picked up by another man in the picture, captioned the picture with the Toy Story saying, “To infinity, and beyond.”
