Parker reveals that it took him a few episodes before he was not starstruck but that he had a great time.
Nicole Ari Parker opens up about her role in the iconic cast of And Just Like That ….
The 51-year old actress spoke to PEOPLE on Thursday at the amfAR Gala at the Cannes Film Festival about her experience filming season 1 for Sex and the City.
“For me? Incredible. PEOPLE heard her tell of the incredible experience, while she gushed about her AJLT co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Sarah Jessica Parker.
“It was just amazing to be able to spend time with these three women up close. She explains that they were each even more beautiful, gracious, generous, and majestic in person. It took me several episodes to get over my stardom, but it was worth it.
Parker has not revealed what the second season of HBO Max will bring to fans, but she said she had “sworn to secrecy” about it. However, she did say what she would like to see in the next chapter.
“More fashion. She says that everyone will experience more happiness. It was a huge transition in the first season, and there were more surprises.
It’s a well-known truth that fashion is at forefront of both SATC and AJLT. However, the cast still finds it amazing to see the visions for their characters come to life, like Parker’s show-stopping gown in the finale.
Molly Rogers was the costume designer for Parker, and she shared all details with InStyle about Carrie’s striking look at the Paris bridge scene from the AJLT. The AJLT concluded its run on HBO Max on February.
Rogers said that the coral Valentino gown was her only choice. “SJ [Parker] spotted it and said, ‘Look no more.’ “
