Giannina Gibelli stated that she had never seen The Bachelor before meeting Blake Horstmann during filming All Star Shore, which will premiere on Paramount+ June 29.
Giannina Gibelli, Love Is Blind’s star, called Blake Horstmann her Bachelorette alum the “sweetest” person.
29-year-old reality star opened up about Horstmann’s best qualities, which fans may not be able to see.
She told E! that while he’s respectful, she didn’t believe they realize how hilarious, spontaneous, and dedicated he is. The news at the 2022 iHeartRadio Wango Tango Festival was Saturday.
She said, “He’s doing a DJ gig now, and just watching him achieve all these new heights, all these goals, and I don’t think many people know that it’s in him. But he certainly does.”
Gibelli also reflected on meeting Horstmann (33), while filming Paramount+’s upcoming competition series All Star Shore. It premieres June 29.
She said that she had never seen The Bachelor or any other dating show so was not familiar with Horstmann’s identity. “He seemed familiar to my eyes and he just smiled at me. That’s how I met him on the beach.
Gibelli also shared her reasons for starting another reality TV series after she appeared on the first season of Love Is Blind in 2020.
She said, “After I did Love Is Blind I felt very comfortable being vulnerability and I saw how many people really relate to me so I decided not to do another dating show.” “Then, I was asked to participate in this challenge show on the African coast.”
She said, “I felt that this would be an opportunity to show a different side about myself.” Love Is Blind was so heavy, and this was very enjoyable and party.
Contestants on All Star Shore will compete in various party-style challenges like “Party Pong” and “Shots and Found.” The winner could be awarded a cash prize and global bragging rights.
“This is the greatest show I have ever done. Gibelli teased that All Star Shore was the best show he’d ever seen. “There are many surprises that will unfold.”
She said, “There are many sides to every cast member and the fact we all fell in love — every single person that was on that cast is mine favorite — I don’t think you expected it from such an eclectic bunch of people.”
Sources confirmed to PEOPLE in January that the couple had a great romance on the new series.
According to a source, “Blake and Giannina met while filming a competition series on Paramount+. It features reality stars from all over the world, such as The Bachelorette, Jersey Shore or Love Is Blind [and] RuPaul’s Drag Race.” They will compete for cash prizes on the series.
PEOPLE reported earlier that month that Horstmann had been “dating” Gibelli after a recent meeting.
An insider stated that they were taking things slowly at the time. “But they seem really happy together.”
