Elon Musk tweeted Friday that “at their best, they’re each incredible.”
Elon Musk will share his thoughts on the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial.
Podcast host Lex Fridman shared his view from Friday’s defamation trial via Twitter. He shared five bullet points about love, fame, lawyers, lying and wine.
Musk, 50, replied to the tweet later, writing “I hope they both continue to move on.”
He said, “At their best they are each amazing.”
Heard, 36, was first to be paired with Musk in 2016. They split in August 2017, due to their hectic schedules. However, they rekindled their relationship in January 2018, but then broke up again a month later.
Depp, 58 had accused Aquaman actress of starting a relationship with Musk “no earlier than one month” after she and Depp were married in 2015.
According to PEOPLE, Depp claims that Heard was visited by Musk late at night at the penthouse in L.A. Heard and Depp shared, while Depp was abroad.
Depp claimed that Musk was allowed access to his house the same night Heard “presented [her battered] face to the public.” Depp claims that Heard’s domestic violence accusations against him were false and “an elaborate hoax.”
Musk rep stated that Amber and Elon didn’t see each other until May 2016 and that even then, it was rare. Their romance didn’t blossom until a later date.
Heard and Depp split in May 2016. Heard filed for divorce, and Heard sought a domestic violence order against him. Depp denied the abuse allegations and the couple divorced out of court in august 2016.
Depp sued Heard for $50 Million in damages for defamation for a December 2018 opinion piece she wrote about coming forward to report on abuse allegations. However, she did not mention Heard by name in that article. Heard counter-suing Depp for defamation and seeking $100 million in damages.
