The meetings of the president of the Xunta, Alfonso Rueda, with the representatives of the opposition parties in Galicia already have a date: Monday, June 6. This was advanced by Rueda this Sunday morning, during an interview on Radio Galega.
The president convened this same Sunday by letter to two separate meetings with Ana Pontón, national spokesperson for the BNG, and Valentín González Formoso, general secretary of the PSdeG.
“I would like to take the initiative and start a round of contacts with the representatives of the opposition to share your vision and that of the Xunta with respect to the current and future situation in Galicia”, indicates the Galician president in his letter.
Among the issues that he considers a priority for the Community, Rueda cites the abrupt rise in prices to levels unknown in the last 30 years, the need for European funds to contribute to a solid and sustained reactivation and the need to continue improving the quality of our public services.
As he has already advanced in these last days, Rueda also expresses by letter his intention to agree with the opposition on a unique position for Galicia with a view to the meeting that he will hold with the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, when he grants him the hearing that, to In turn, the president requested already in his first week in office.
