Police: “Test drive” with blue lights ends in a police check

A young man got himself into a lot of trouble because he ran straight into the arms of the real police during a “test drive” with a newly purchased blue light. The police told me on Sunday that criminal proceedings and several administrative offenses had been initiated against him. The 20-year-old was noticed by an oncoming civilian patrol that night. After she checked the license plate and had doubts about the type of light signal, she stopped the vehicle between Schleibnitz and Magdeburg at the level of the A14 motorway bridge, as it was said. During the inspection, the young man said he would do a test drive with the blue lights installed.
